HOW MUCH DOES A WEB SITE COST?
The cost of site development depends on a number of variables. We will need a sense of your available budget, how many pages (or how much material) you want to post online, if you want to sell products on your site, and how much custom design work will be needed. Then, based on an estimated number of hours, we can give you an estimate for TBE’s design services. You will also need web hosting and domain name registration for a new site, and unlike other design firms TBE will not charge you any additional monthly fees for “site maintenance.” This is one of the significant ways we keep your costs down.

WHAT ABOUT A LOGO OR OTHER DESIGN WORK?
The process is similar. Once we have an idea how many hours it will take to complete your project, we can give you an estimate. How long does it take to have a web site designed? This depends upon the size and complexity of your web site, and our current client design schedule.

IS IT NECESSARY TO HIRE A "LOCAL" GRAPHIC OR WEB DESIGNER?
We work with local design clients as well as others across the country. With the internet, e-mail and the telephone, we can communicate effectively with clients anywhere.

WHAT IS A "URL"?
That stands for "universal resource locator". It is the address typed in to view your web page on the Internet. An example of a URL is http://www.tbedesign.com, which you would type in to your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) to access our home page.

WHAT IS A DOMAIN NAME?
A domain name is a specific web site address that you choose and register with a domain name registrar (not TBE, but we can help you get it done). There is a fee for registering a domain name, and you have a choice of how many years you want to register it for. Our domain name is "tbedesign.com".

WHAT IS WEB HOSTING?
Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. We can recommend web hosts to our clients if they don’t have one they already use.

WHAT ABOUT MY WEB SITE'S CONTENT: WHAT DO I PUT ON MY SITE?
